Our Friendship !

It's as soothing as a cup of chai
In those cold freezing mornings
when hiding under cover we lie

It's as exiciting as that summer rain
Or looking outside a moving train
It's like building that sand castle
with a gush of wind
that'll eventually fly

It's as comforting as that hope
that inside us never dies
It's that one touch
best felt when we close our eyes

Finally here phew -and it feels great too !

I sometimes seem to myself to wander around the world merely accumulating material for future nostalgias. - Vikram Seth

Our Deepest Fear

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine as children do.
It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

-Coach Carter, The Movie

The Disillusionist

 Over my intellectual pretension phase.
No longer wants to talk about things that I don't understand.
No longer wants to be deep when I don't know the depth.
Want to be who I am and know what I know.
Want to bare both my strength and weakness.
Want to be humane before I am anything else.

Untold Thoughts

For A Sister.

I discovered some amazing photographs.
This collage, I have specifically collected for you.

Artist: Watanabe

When Amala used to dress us as twins, I cringed going in public.

You are the crescent moon faced left child.
I am the full moon faced right child.

Remember the time we danced in front of an amused monkey sitting on our window sill?

Let's do one for him. He looks sad.

Time has deceived us. When did we grow up?

The abandoned house in Dharamkot jungle is too full of our childhood.

I am sad to know it is occupied by an oblivion stranger.
